Juratek launches pad fitting kits to support brake performance and safety

Juratek is expanding its product portfolio with the launch of over 120 brake pad fitting kits

Juratek is expanding its product portfolio with the launch of over 120 brake pad fitting kits, offering factors and technicians the tools to deliver more complete, longer-lasting brake repairs.

Developed to complement the existing Juratek brake pad range, the new kits are designed to address one of the most overlooked aspects of brake maintenance; the importance of replacing worn or damaged fitting components. The brand, which is now part of Frasle Mobility, has also confirmed its plans to release brake shoe fitting kits at a later date, further enhancing its aftermarket offering.

“Brake performance depends on more than just high-quality pads like those from Juratek, but the hardware that holds them in place also plays a critical role,” said Matt Leeming, Head of Product Management for Frasle Mobility in the UK. “Our new fitting kits are about making sure garages have access to everything they need to complete the job efficiently, while also giving the end user better braking, less noise and safer vehicles, all from a small, cost-effective addition to the repair.”

Brake hardware wears over time, especially in high-mileage or harsh conditions. Springs often lose tension, clips can corrode, and slide pins may stick, all of which can compromise braking performance, cause premature pad wear, and increase the risk of failure.

The new Juratek fitting kits aim to counteract these issues by supplying key components needed for smooth, quiet, and reliable brake operation, including:

  • Anti-rattle clips – to ensure pads stay correctly positioned and reduce noise

  • Pad retaining springs – for consistent pad alignment and retraction

  • Guide pin boots – to protect slide pins and ensure caliper movement remains free

  • Specialised grease – for lubricating slide pins to promote caliper movement and prevent uneven pad wear

Juratek stresses that fitting kits represent a minimal cost compared to the value they deliver. By replacing worn fittings at the same time as pads, workshops can reduce comebacks, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver a more complete service.

Where possible, fitting kits are already included with Juratek pads as standard. The new line of fitting kits as standalone products are to provide cover for instances where the required components differ depending on the vehicle application in which the pads are being installed.

This launch also reflects Frasle Mobility’s broader strategy of supporting the aftermarket with smarter, more complete solutions across its brand portfolio in the UK. With increased warehouse capacity now in place at its sites in the UK and Northern Ireland, the company is well positioned to deliver this new range quickly and reliably to customers.

“We’ve built a reputation on reliable parts, intelligent stockholding, and listening to what customers really need,” adds Leeming. “This range is the next step in helping the aftermarket deliver safer, quieter, longer-lasting brake repairs, while keeping quality and affordability at the heart of the service.”
