Three new driveshafts added to Shaftec’s New To Range

Shaftec Automotive has now added three driveshafts to its New To Range collection for September

Birmingham-based automotive remanufacturer Shaftec Automotive has now added three driveshafts to its New To Range collection for September.

Key applications for the new driveshafts include the FO400L for the Ford Kuga II (2016-2017), the FO400R for the Ford Kuga II (2016-2019), and the R566R for the Renault Master III Bus (2014 onwards).

The new parts join the eight driveshafts and five brake calipers that were part of the company’s New To Range portfolio in July.

Shaftec Marketing Manager Adrian Kitchen said: “Our focus is on making sure customers can always get the right parts at the right time. Our three new driveshafts further strengthens our New To Range offering for both petrol and diesel vehicles, and reinforces our commitment to providing a broad and fast-moving range.”

Here are some signs that your driveshafts might need changing:

·       Inspect the driveshaft: Look for any signs of damage, such as cracks or dents.

·       Check the inner/outer joints: Check for any play or looseness.

·       Check for vibrations: If you feel any vibrations while driving, it could indicate a damaged driveshaft.

·       Listen for noises: If you hear any clunking or grinding noises while driving, it could indicate a damaged driveshaft.
