TT Automotive strengthens digital trading with PACT

TT Automotive is strengthening its digital trading capabilities following the implementation of TecCom via PACT, providing its customers with a more efficient ordering process.

Operating as both a supplier and distributor, TT Automotive delivers reliable parts across a wide range of diesel applications. As customer expectations continue to change, the business recognised the need to automate its processes and make trading simpler.

Before implementing TecCom via PACT, TT Automotive’s customers relied heavily on traditional phone-based ordering. This meant customers had to contact the business to check pricing and availability before placing an order, creating additional back-and-forth for both the customer and TT Automotive’s customer service team.

Having already used TecCom themselves to check stock and order from other suppliers, the business was familiar with the platform and the benefits it could provide. This made the decision to introduce the platform a natural next step for the business.

Simon Deavall, Sales Manager at TT Automotive, commented: “Introducing TecCom through PACT gives our customers a more accessible way to trade with us electronically. They can check the information they need and place orders more efficiently, which makes the whole ordering process simpler for everyone.

“As we don't have an IT department, the process was quite new to us, but the PACT team were brilliant and did most of the work for us. They made the whole process really easy and have continued to keep in touch and support us since implementation.”

As more customers move towards electronic ordering, having the infrastructure in place will allow TT Automotive to support changing expectations and make digital trading a more central part of its services.

Andrew Walters, Sales Manager at PACT, added: “We’re pleased to have supported TT Automotive with the implementation of TecCom and to continue working closely with the team. Digital trading is becoming increasingly important across the industry, and we’re looking forward to helping TT Automotive as more customers move towards electronic ordering.”
